I am a freelance solicitor, after many years of working in corporate law firms.

I really enjoy helping clients when they are having trouble with national regulators. I am very successful in fully defending companies under investigation by the ICO or FCA, sometimes ending cases before they go too far or just limiting the damage.

Through my representation, many of my clients have avoided huge fines and damage to their reputations.

I often advise on the maze that is the FCA ‘Handbook’, including applications for authorisation and dealing with objections from the regulator.

I enjoy advising companies on the complex direct marketing laws and guiding them on what they can actually do under GDPR, which is usually more than they think.
